Biography
Chris Whittaker is a former Warrant Officer in the British Army, having served a full career in the Parachute Regiment. His 22 years was defined by operational tours, overseas exercises, command and training postings. Having served with distinction throughout, Chris brings a wealth of experience, serving in specialist machine gun and reconnaissance platoons, along with command appointments, exchange and as a senior instructor on the Central and Eastern European British Military Advisory and Training Team in Viŝkov, Czech Republic. Operational tours of Northern Ireland, Kosovo and Sierra Leone saw diverse and challenging environments which highlighted Chris’ leadership style and ability.
Since his military career, Chris has worked throughout Africa, Asia and the Middle East providing expert security and risk management advice to several sectors including Oil and Gas, Banking, Pharmaceuticals and Renewable Energy. Welfare of both serving service personnel and veterans has always been a priority for Chris, who’s final post in the Army was as the Welfare Officer for the SFSG.
