Biography
Sally Orange MBE is a former British Army Major, a multi-world-record-holding endurance athlete, and a powerful voice for mental health advocacy. During her 22 years in the Royal Army Medical Corps, she served as a physiotherapy officer, including a deployment to Afghanistan treating severely injured personnel.
Sally is the only person on earth to complete a marathon on every continent in fruit-themed costumes, using humour and visibility to start conversations about mental health. She has completed over 500 endurance events including 85+ marathons, 8 Ironman triathlons, the Marathon des Sables, multiple Channel swims, and captained the first British female team to cycle the Race Across America.
Following a recent breast cancer diagnosis, Sally openly shared her journey and used her platform to raise awareness, encourage early conversations, and inspire others through her honesty and resilience. Her positivity, warmth and authenticity have made her an internationally sought after speaker and a role model for people of all ages. She has raised almost £1 million for charity and continues to champion mental wellbeing through sport, storytelling, and community engagement.
