Biography
WORLD-RENOWNED explorer Levison Wood has explored 120+ countries. A visionary known for his mad, grand, and daring ideas that may seem outlandish to some, but consistently prove to be immense and awe-inspiring. Levison has gone where no one has gone before. He’s walked the entire length of the river Nile, the Himalayas, Central America, crossed the Caucasus, and circumnavigated the Arabian Peninsula. His eight critically-acclaimed television series (Discovery, Amazon, Channel 4 etc) have been broadcast around the world and he is the author of twelve best-selling books.
I’m proud to be working with Veterans for Veterans as I understand the long-term impact military service can have – hearing loss is one of the most common and overlooked issues faced by those who’ve served. What sets this organisation apart is that it’s run by veterans, for veterans. There’s a shared understanding, a trust, and a level of care that only comes from lived experience.
