British Army Soldier
& Author

Biography
Geraint Jones is a former infantry soldier who served in Afghanistan and Iraq, where he was awarded a GOC’s commendation. He has since written more than twenty military-themed books, both fiction and non-fiction, with several of the titles making the New York Times and Sunday Times bestseller lists. His 2024 release, D-Day: The Unheard Tapes, was a number one bestseller, and accompanied the major BBC production of the same name.
Geraint’s first feature film, MVP, was co-written with former US Army Green Beret Nate Boyer, and produced by Sylvester Stallone. The film follows the struggles of veterans and athletes as they search for identity, purpose, and brotherhood in their new lives. A respected voice within the veteran community, Geraint is the host of the Veteran State of Mind and War Story podcasts. The intention of War Story, in particular, is to create an archive of interviews that can be passed on to future generations, so that the experiences and sacrifices of our troops is not forgotten.
