Biography
Brian Wood MC is a decorated former British Army soldier, awarded the Military Cross for outstanding bravery in combat. His experiences on the frontline shaped a lifelong dedication to truth, resilience, and standing up for those who have served.
Since leaving the military, Brian has become a respected advocate for the veteran community – speaking openly about the realities of service, the challenges faced after leaving uniform, and the importance of recognition and mental health awareness. As an author, speaker, and mentor, Brian’s work continues to inspire change and champion the voices of veterans and their families.
On the front line, the battlefield was relentless – machine gun fire, explosions, engines, radios, all blending into a wall of noise. At the time, you push through it because survival demands it. Noise-induced hearing loss is one of the unseen wounds of war, a reminder that service doesn’t stop taking its toll when the battle ends.
